Local Information and Referral

VCAS Is operated by volunteers who have gained first-hand knowledge and experience regarding our school systems, local and state services, doctors and other service providers in our area. By joining VCAS, you can share in this knowledge through chapter meetings and discussions with other members.

Newsletters

VCAS produces a newsletter which details laws and regulations, information, events, and activities sponsored by VCAS or local communities, and stories about chapter members. NOTE: We intend to start up our newsletter again soon. Events have been getting posted to our e-group – see below.


Parent Talk Discussion Group

VCAS hosts speakers 10 months out of the year on a monthly basis on a diverse array of topics of interest to families with ASD. It is an opportunity to meet other families and professionals in your community.

VCAS hosts a holiday party, and summer picnic, and other special events.

VCAS has added a Yahoo e-group available to members to assist in the exchange of information and access to others.

Library at the Rainbow Connection Center

VCAS maintains an extensive book, video, and cassette library so our membership may keep up with the latest news and developments.
The library is in the Rainbow Connection located at the TCRC Office:
