Madelyne Patick Green, SLP, M.S., CCC
Area of specialization is in the treatment of children, young adults and adults with High Functioning Autism and Asperger Syndrome. My treatment approach is to break down the concept of social cognition and communication and teach this population how to implement critical skills into their daily lives. In addition to individual therapy, I also work with groups of 3 or 4 clients.  Group involvement is extremely functional and central to the development of social cognition and communication. Participation in a group enables clients to understand how the social world works, to recognize the impact of behavior and language (verbal and nonverbal), to negotiate, to work in a team and to learn many other skills.
