Provides assistance to families in recruiting and employing respite workers to alleviate the burden of employment taxes, insurance, and RC billing on families. Trained caregivers provide a free, short break to families who are caring for a loved one with a developmental disability. Respite Workers can provide social skills mentoring, homework help, companionship, personal assistance, community outings, and continue behavioral programs in place for continuity of care.
