Discovery Services Group
Behavioral Sensory Integration combining behavioral techniques while addressing sensory needs. Classes are designed to increase appropriate behaviors while targeting physical fitness in order to move kids into social/group situations. Classes take place in a fully integrated gymnastics facility. 1:1 for beginning students, 1:2/3 Social Skills Class & gymnastics, Social Play Skills Groups, Before-School “Wake Up” Classes, “Mommy, Daddy and Me” Classes, and Birthday Parties.

Designed to foster a relationship between community teenagers and children giving them a chance to develop social skills and the opportunity to experience a diverse array of activities. Programs offered are Sports Night, which pairs teen volunteers with kids to build skills in various sports activities; Friends at Home, pairs kids with teen volunteers for activities in the home environment; Gymnastics Programs, Sunday Circle, and a Winter Camp that includes Rock Climbing and Sibling workshops.

CRPD Therapeutic Recreation Unit
The Conejo Recreation and Park District Therapeutic Recreation Unit provides recreation and leisure programs for individuals with disabilities of all ages. Year round throughout the Conejo Valley and surrounding areas. Day camps, afterschool clubs, sensory play programs, swim lessons, teen clubs, sport training programs, art, dance, cooking, dances, parties, supported use of community recreation venues, county wide special events, and more. Programs are designed by Recreation Therapists for specific age groups and predetermined staff to participant ratios, toward specific target skill development or type of experience, and to ensure beneficial content.
